• Produce a silicone soft robot with at least 4 air chambers
• the air control must allow the input of one person per chamber
• large size
• try to combine variations of well-known silicone soft robots
• Desire to make something aesthetically resemble a flower
• exploit the ability to cast and bond to already cured silicone

State of the art/History

• all kinds of industrial and creative applications from movie effects, material coatings, automotive etc. Silicone industry started in the 30’s in the US
• most interesting state of the art is LDM silicone 3D printing, in my opinion

WHY YOU SHOULD CARE

Might be helpful for your understanding of additive silicone casting, it certainly was for me. Actuators with the ability to be controlled by multiple people have all kinds of implications or potentials for art pieces or games.
