Progress:

1. New domain! nbd.fyi is my new domain for the site. Still hosting on github pages. NBD are my initials as well as “no big deal” so I thought it was a little silly, especially paired with .fyi.
2. Added project page prototypes. They're almost there. Just need to add a gallery situation for more images. Also added a hover effect where the main grid cell shrinks and greys out with mouseover. I am on the fence if I like it or not but I do like that it offers some user feedback and advertises the click ability of the cells,
3. Within the project pages, you need to use a button to navigate back to the main grid. I like the fact that the project pages replace the main grid but the banners dont need to reload or anything, so the in and out navigation feels very seamless… I dont really want obvious looking buttons but unsure what a better option would be.

I got done like 70% of what I wanted this week - ideally the image galleries and the footer links would be accessible right now, but this week is my main fabrication week for Playful Communication of Serious Research, so most of my time is devoted to learning the CAM side of Fusion360.

My Timeline for the next two weeks:

Week 1

• Add standardized image gallery formatting for the project pages
• make an about me page
• make “links” clickable to a “Work In Progress” page
• add 2 API’s to the banners

Week 2

• add some sort of scroll for mobile
• add as many API’s as I can think of to the banners

My links page will be something I tackle after this class, its just the least important part of my website right now. The dynamic resizing makes accessing this site via mobile almost ok, but I do think I need a scrolling option to see more projects easily.

I’d like to start adding stat API’s this coming week while I still have some class support but other than that I think I am feeling good about where I am!
